It seems like the end of the world
When people think that
They can say anything
They want to you,
But you can't say anything
You want to them.
It seems like the end of the world
When people constantly have no regard
For your feelings.
But you must respect theirs.
But it is not the end of the world.
Just remember those few people
Who do respect your feelings.
Just remember to continue
To be the better person
When someone disrespects you.
At least you still have your integrity.
And as I heard once,
A person who sells out their values
Has nothing left at all.
They are just an empty shell.
