It Was Fun Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

It Was Fun

It was fun

It was fun, walking tall
In the rain that brought
The wet and dead brown
Leaves falling one by one
On the bald of my head
As if on roof, Kah-Gel
Sticking on surface…

It was fun to walk like
The Majnoon and Farhad
Both, drunk with love of
Their lovers in their mind!

It was fun thinking of
What happened to lovers
Committing suicide…

It was fun
It was fun

It was fun to care-less
For the men and women
Who act, talk: "Serious! "

It was fun to think of
Them saying: "This trash
Walks in rain all alone…"

"Surely must be drunk! "
Felt I heard of their tongues.

Whenever could raise head
Kind of felt and traced
The leaf-less branches;
It was fun!

I neither was drunk
Nor felt to rush or run
To hide me in the car.
Walk in rain and slow
Meant a life full of fun.
