It Was Life Poem by Miroslava Odalovic

It Was Life

a leaf lying below its tree
a hat forgotten on a table
a half eaten lunch
a sentence unfinished
a dance danced out
a number undialed
a phone lying in an outstretched hand
a name unuttered
it was life
