A 'like' epidemic there be,
Caught by all generations in
Using term, 'like, ' excessively,
And now a common speaking sin.
Like, the speaker said 'like' so much,
Like, it was distracting to hear,
Like, communication lost touch,
Like, speaker's point did disappear.
Like, think if a President gave
A speech with 'like' stuck all throughout,
Like, why would he or she behave
When war was what was talked about?

One President gave 'like' a like,
Won twice on slogan, 'I like Ike.'
