I've Seen It Owl Poem by Ima Ryma

I've Seen It Owl

One night this spotted owl did spot
A couple of owls on the ground.
Giants, but real owls they were not,
Concluded me, flying around.
Apparently some humans had
Built a couple of owl like things.
Mostly in flowers they were clad,
Green leafy stuff on head and wings.
Who knows what prompted the display.
It's hard to figure humans out.
But I was impressed anyway.
Those humans had worked hard no doubt.

Imitation is flattery,
So flattered I be owlfully
