Its Own Sorrow, Its Own Joy Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Its Own Sorrow, Its Own Joy

None can ever fathom
A heart's deepest sorrow
And none can share the depth
Of the joys it may know.

The many words it hears
Fail to ease the grief there,
As pain flows out in tears
In solitude, the heart may suffer.

Some hearts will keep on beating
Just to live on 'cause it must,
Though the one that hold its longing
Had passed on and turned to dust.

Still there comes that moment
When someone would heal it so,
The feeling of Love he sent
That too, we'll never know.

'Each heart knows its own bitterness,
and no one else can share its joy.'
