Japan Needs Us (#2) Poem by Walterrean Salley

Japan Needs Us (#2)

Rating: 2.8

Earthquake. Tsunami.
Radiation leak.
Troubles in Japan
Growing more bleak.
As for the winter,
Snow and cold—
Humanitarian crisis
Beginning to unfold.
Shortage of food.
Shortage of water.
Demand for gas,
In tall order.
Troubles in Japan
Have yet to peak.
They need us now,
More than last week.
