Jasmine Young Poem by Josey Alfred

Jasmine Young

Fair jasmine young, you try to climb
In haste undue, though yet unsure!
It’s good to let your veins and limbs,
To grow more strong, or may rupture.

Your blossom glows like silver buds,
Your eyes are like the diamond studs.
Your aura burst, as rainbow flash,
You kindle all my veins, may flash!

Oh, angel sweet, your spread delight,
And flood my heart too full, to brim,
But harsh this world will mock, and slight,
So take some care, play not on rime.

You may stay close, yet claim apart,
Still let your fragrance wrap, my heart
I will take you my lass, sweet heart,
When time is ripe, we will share hearth.
