Jealousy - Poem by Bridget Bush

You think we're close
I think we're half way there
I try to stay busy
Therefore you think I don't care
That's not the case, just don't want to be bored
I ahve a live outside of you
I need my alone time, my own space
But you think I should be involved in all you do
You call me your best friend
and think I should know all your ins and outs
I thought you'd want to know mine
but I'm beginning to have my doubts
I can't get attention from men
because you don't get it too
I can't be happy
Unless you're happy too
I'm supposed to just know about you
but what about me?
You don't want to know, don't care
You've succumbed to jealousy
