God's most holy son teach me of your love
Strength, with purpose to help all in need
So I might become a perpetual Christian
With no fear of death and waiting for the grave.
Lord Jesus, king of kings, hear my plea
Embrace me within your dazzling light
Forgive my sins, some dark as night
Baptize my soul clean with love eternal
Strengthen my faith, be my shield against evil.
Ever present in my daily thoughts and deeds
Showing the way to Heaven and Almighty God.
Keep me safe and true on route following you
Forgive my wasted days before your truth
When I was lost without thoughts of you.
