Join Me My Best Friend - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Would you honor me my best friend
and come join me for dinner
and then a lovely evening in each others arms?
I am about to cook a nice meal
of which I wish you could be here to join me.
I long to serve my sweet Queen
and just let you know how much you truly mean
to me your Michael who loves you more than anything.
Would you come join me Kira my best friend
and honor me making me the luckiest man
as we sat side by side enjoying
each others company and I can make you
ever so proud and happy.

Please come and join me my best friend
where after dinner we can sit back
and hold each other talking and reading
just passing the hours with one another.
I admit my sweet darling I am already
feeling so very tired and I want to drift
to the Angelic voice and in the arms of you
my most beautiful cherished woman.
I hope you will understand how much I just
want to close my eyes and drift hearing
you read a wonderful book.
Will you come join me my darling,
I need my best friend right here beside me.

Please come and join me my best friend
and let me do for you by cooking
and spending time before I know
I'll drift off afterwards.
I want to drift off as we kiss and snuggle
like the two best friend in true love
just like we've always been.
Please hear my hearts pleadings and grant me
the honor of your heavenly grace.
May God so truly bless you and let you know
how much I treasure and long for you darling.
Please come join me not just tonight but for all time
because I adore you sweet Kira
and everyday over and over my heart melts for you.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Love you mega tons my sweet darling Kira. You are my best friend and only one. I wish you were here to join me. Please don't feel upset because I am so tired now and I know I'll lay down after dinner. I will write you before. I wish I could just spend all this time snuggling, talking, and sharing sweet kisses with you. ILYF
