Joyful Innocence Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Joyful Innocence

Rating: 5.0

Dearest friends of none forgotten
To thee, who has passed along the way
I await the many sunsets
For the rise of a brand new day

Tomorrow was, and ever shall be
A dream of yesterday
Of the many, I have loved thee
I shall always hope; For this I pray

Some time ago briefly never knowing
Each moment, holding; Yet slips away
Within our life, love continues, growing
A joy to cherish a friendly face

We shall love thee, Little Heartbeats
Furry cuddles with unspoken ways
Smiles, the innocence shall bring us
Until anew, Where angels play
