Joyful Times Poem by Kwai Chee Low

Joyful Times

Rating: 5.0

I gazed at the lake
of sparkling water.
A leaf floats with glee,
free as the wind.

Trees that line the lake,
cool against the sun.
Sounds of laughing children,
it's a day for fun.

Ensconced beneath an oak,
with my favorite book,
and coffee at my side.
A delight to look.

In a very light mood, enjoyed. Lake, oak, sunshine, children, coffee, book... What a joyful day!
