Jubilating Feet Poem by Aufie Zophy

Jubilating Feet

Rating: 5.0

My feet jubilated
upon touching the wavy beach,
hidden under an ankle deep sea.
Mini waves were breaking
Gently hitting my legs

The heat of walking muscles
Was absorbed masterfully
By a breeze, coalesced
with the evening sun
Flowing like an emulsion
Caressing my cheeks
In a feat of perfect temperature.

The cadence of the waves was musical
A red boat lay anchored in shallow water
That was blue and green at the same time
The delight to my senses lifted my soul
And my still jubilating feet felt
As if they were lightly afloat
