Judging Others Poem by Randy McClave

Judging Others

Just think you're standing in line
You feel both happy and fine,
You have a smile upon your face
Which you know, no one can erase.
Then you begin to think
As your emotions begin to sink,
Will you see that certain person or someone
Who unto you have done wrong.
Will you see that person that you talked about
At you will they scream or shout,
Will there be a fight because of hate
Will you or them be allowed inside the gate.
You then begin to worry
You begin to step faster as you hurry,
As the line your in gets much shorter
You then quickly become a reporter.
You ask others have they hated
With others have they ever furiously debated,
Because from where they have came
And their problems upon others did they blame.
You now hope that you don't see
The people you judged and hated because it was easy,
And you hope that they don't know you
From the judging and hating you did do.
Now you are finally next
Your presence you hope no one does object,
Are you a Christian or are you a fraud
As now you are judged by almighty God.
