Just A Moment In Time Poem by Charlotte Rains

Just A Moment In Time

Her face was framed before me
by golden locks of curls
The sun smiled down
and kissed the cheeks
of my own sweet baby girl

She sat among the daisies
weaving a flower crown
She stole away their beauty
the moment she sat down

Little hands working hard
to weave a sweet surprise
My heart was filled
with love and pride
by this blessing to my eyes

Forever will my lips give thanks
for just that moment in time
A picture held within my heart
of this beautiful child of mine
