Just A Second Of Hope Poem by Udaya R. Tennakoon

Just A Second Of Hope

They tell me
And I hear
Being possitve
And to think of
The content of words they say
Where the possitve
Image I can see

One smile
Thousands of cries
A happy meal
Millions of hungry bellys

A moment of peace
Burning wars
Flights to fight
Plight to lives

Just a justice
Jester gestures
Just a second of hope
Just close up the eyes

How beautiful I would say
To the nature without human
How nice I would say
To the lovers who have not selfishness

To the truth
We all would agree
To the fairness
By birth everyone owns

To see that
To think of that
To work on that
To fight for that
I am possitve

Out of
Instead of
Despite of
I am negative
Though you may say
My mind agrees not
