Just Be Glad Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Just Be Glad

When there is no clear division,
Between what is right and wrong...
Deducted from an observation,
Impressed upon one's thinking process?
And petty arguments become prioritized?
Don't apologize,
When you leave these scenes to flee.

Just remember that you've witnessed,
One who does not recognize...
The depth of their mental illness.
Just be glad,
You have not become emotionally involved.
And you have done the right thing...
When you leave these scenes to flee.
