Just For Her Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Just For Her

Just for her

I am asked:
"Write of heart, broken! "

I loved her
Always did and so will
Yes, I shall for ever.

She was, is, best, remains
My closest friend…

Finally, after years
Behind pains, abortions
She gave birth…

People were clumsy,
Liar, man of magics:
"You hurt the demon's kids;
She kills yours by choking! "

Simple, she, heard, believed;
With a poor, broken spirit!

And she was best friend
And she is, will remain.

My lovely old sister…

For her sake, and myself
I was ball of fire
In open and hiding…

Things were good
But until
I saw kid was lying
In the arms of father
(In his hand peg-like-pin.)

Little boy's mouth was cave
On its walls, throat, tongue
Mass of milky-white-moss,
That father picked, cleaned…

I, myself, small child
In need of care and help;
Stood there like a mouse
Looking out from its nest.

Curious must have been
My shiny hazel eyes;
In grey, black, white…

To me, things abnormal;
As uncle, loved son of
My sister that I loved…

Did not last very long
Till the bad day arrived.

Our house was a mansion
Had a pond in centre.

The baby was naked
His body, innocent
Floated on water…

He had died
Mesmerised, I cried!

Ever since that day, I
For infant and sister
My heart has broken.

Is this what you asked for?
Apocalypse, disaster?
Don't want to remember
Since died, left us sister;
She was my best friend!

I saw life through her;
Love, pity the women

I see them as teachers
Therefore, I respect them
With my heart broken.
