Just In Case I Die Poem by Ency Bearis

Just In Case I Die

Rating: 5.0

To consider how long our life will last can be
No one knows
Neither I to predict with that possibility
Only God knows

If it is your time to die
Can you control it?
No, and nobody wants to die
But it is to God, not human wit

However, if I die tomorrow
Bury my whole body in the soil
But please no one to sorrow
For someday, from soil I will coil

My spirit will show up like a tree
Bearing flowers, fruits they become
Seemingly be seen as my legacy
The fruits of my written wisdom

You are true. We do not know how long we shall live. But we shall feel life with certainty and dignity. Spirit will bring flowers and spirit will be awakened. Fruit of written wisdom will dazzle. This poem is very brilliantly penned.10

Death is uncertain and inevitable. Sometimes it comes like a thief in the night. An insightful poem on death. Well crafted and composed Liked the closure lines.
