Just Like I Did Before Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Just Like I Did Before

Those fields that stretch for miles
Are a pleasurable view
Beneath the bluest sky
I fondly think of you.

There are birds up in the trees
Their song is oh so fine
For in nature you're with me
Memories divine.

I'm transported to a time
Many hours spent with you
When we would walk for miles
Upon the morning dew.

Take me back again to live
Those special days once more
When I walked along with you
Just like I did before.
