Just Me Poem by Shanaaz Waldien

Just Me

I circle around corners of being able
Able to do good, it beats being miserable
I write when there's no 'writers block' around
I play the radio when the silence get to loud

I pray when it hurts to smile
I go back when I forget, to the memory file
I listen even when I don't understand
This world can be rough, but I love this land

I look around and treasure a scene
I compromise, even when I'm not so keen
I love more when times are tough
I take it easier than most when it gets rough

I feel inside and touch outside
I come clean when I've lied
I can stare for a while at the leaves of a tree
You might think I'm crazy, but that's just me
