Just One Drink Poem by Dorsey Baker

Just One Drink

He says to himself
I'm not really hungry
I"m just thirsty
for a dry
martini
his coat and hat
he tosses on the back of
a chair
his shoes untied
but not removed
he turns on the tv
but keeps the volume low
his slowly his body
calms down
his thoughts untangle
