Just Say It Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Just Say It

The frivolities of human inclinations
Can mar the best of harmonious relations,
Greying what could have been sunshiny bonds
Many foibles create clouds that abscond
Mutual cares that would otherwise suffice
Basic needs for friendship and for peace.
And so pretenses take on little masks
Inuendos replace what can be taken to task,
Sparring with words that strike but never hit
Understanding is missed, and truth it forfeits.
