What is writing really about?
Certainly not popularity!
That is something we can do without-
If it comes, we take it, certainly!
Yet writing's more than just fame
(Blessings that accompany it is good,)
But we do endeavor just the same
Even with the scarcity of food.
A passion, a need or whatever,
It must be done or we perish
Inwardly like a withered flower
It's a lover we'll always cherish.
Yes, Writing's more like flying,
Words and lines take us to flight,
We don't even need to prove anything
We just soar with what we write.
