Just Words Poem by Anita Atina

Just Words

Reading over and over again

The messages and letters we shared

Sudden joy and deep understanding

Places of togetherness and intimacy

All feel so real

But they are just

Words that draw us together

A rope to hold on to

While crossing a treacherous river

Till we meet on a quiet bank
