Juvenile Grins Poem by April Humason

Juvenile Grins

In your presence, I go the extra mile,
Your style, a charm that makes me smile.
You, the puppeteer, I'm your willing pawn,
Together, we'll act out love's sweet dawn.

Like Shakespeare's musketeers, side by side,
Our hearts entwined, love's tale we'll confide.
Grinning ear to ear, we'll share our bliss,
A juvenile love, a sweet and tender kiss.

I'll go the distance to see you smile,
Your laughter makes my heart beguile.
With you, I feel like a child at play,
In love's embrace, we'll dance and sway.

No need for pretense or grown-up guile,
We'll bask in love, juvenile all the while.
Hand in hand, our journey to compile,
Forever young, hearts light, and hearts agile.

With each passing day, we'll explore,
An innocent love that we'll both adore.
Like children on an endless summer's day,
We'll run and laugh, never losing our way.

Together we'll build castles in the sand,
Creating memories, hand in hand.
In playful banter, our hearts align,
Juvenile grins, our love will define.

Through life's ups and downs, we'll stand tall,
With juvenile hearts, we'll never fall.
In love's embrace, we'll find our space,
A sanctuary where we'll forever embrace.

With laughter as our constant guide,
We'll face the world, side by side.
In your eyes, a universe I see,
Where love is pure and always free.

Our love, a youthful melody,
A song that will stand the test of eternity.
No matter what life's path may be,
Our juvenile grins will set us free.
