Kaaha Tu Kaaha Mey
Kaaha tu kaaha mey

Tu haimitha shakkar
Mey hu namkin paani!
Tu oorta hua ek parinda
Mey pinjre me bandhe ek panchi!
Hawa me urta jaaye
Tera anchaal aur woh julfe.
Vatak rahahu meine,
Ye gahera andhere me.
Waadio me khilta jaaye
Tera ghungru woh muskan.
Akele me may sarta hu
Na koi taraang na swapna.
Tere bin ye sunha
Na koi dia na sahara.
Azad kar do mujhe
Mujhe sirf tere hi sang jina.
Tu haimitha shakkar
Mey hu namkin paani!

The poet has imagined himself as a caged bird crying with tears, and remembering his beloved whose soul is flying in the limitless space. Poets wants to meet her but he knows it's not possible in this life. His grief is a little relieved when he converts his feelings into a beautiful poem, an impressive one. A nice write Amitava Ji.10 without any hesitation.
