Kandahar 2012
Just get them out of there -
It's a lost cause for vain glory
A people that can never be won
In a stage of endless hostility.
Why lose more sons and daughters?
It is time to take them home now
It's a conflict with no winners
Leave the land that will not bow.
We can find no justification
For the women and children dying
But when soldiers are losing their reason
Then it's your people you must be saving.

Nice piece. Its funny how history works, it was the americans that armed the talibans during their war with Soviets....this same americans 12 years after invade the same country to fight the same taliban they help create. Even as a christian, I must say that it is American's unconditional support for Isreal that have caused all these problems. Islam is a religion of peace but western greed and imperialism has make it synonymous with violence. But time shall tell. The chain of evil/imperialism/injustice/violence can never outlast the truth, the patience of time. Nice poem again.
