Kargil Victory-Martyres day
Friday,26th July 2019

Nation feels proud
of its soldiers and speaks it loudly
in the honor and sacrifices
that were promised to the motherland

The country stood for non-interference
and gave every chance
to the enemy to mend the ways
and cautioned to stay away

this was taken as weakness
and forced the access
into high peaks of the motherland
the army was pressed to defend the holy land

it was a question of "do or die"
but not to surrender to the lies
the soldiers accepted the challenge
the enemy was neutralized or dislodged

many soldiers diedin the course
but the enemy was forced out
we remember this day in their honor
and pay the tribute to the soldiers
