Karma - Poem by StevenLeon Major

To my past, please forgive me for my actions during our time together..please don't return and
affect my present...
To the things that I have done, I apologize, but I just want to grow..please don't hold me any longer.
I feel this weight on my shoulders...as my past continues to remain heavy...I never meant to hurt you...
any of you...see I was selfish at the time, and thought for myself...
I thought for the moment, I thought to do harm, I thought heartless...I wasn't thinking at all...
Karma, please don't come back to harm me...see I was young at the time, and now that I have someone, that I will love forever...I fear you will strike.
Please Karma, allow me.....allow me to make up all of the wrong that I've done, with this one woman...
and settle you forever...with this one woman...I can erase all the negative I've done...all the
tears....the broken hearts...all the pain that I caused...
Karma, I want to be a man...please allow me to be...
I want to make her, feel so wonderful...so beautiful...so appreciated...so loved..my Queen.
I must be a man for her...I must be there for her always...
I need to Karma, I have to, she's my future...I was made to see her smile,
Karma, please accept my apology...

Overcoming habits is a display of self discipline, to overcome one's karma is to attain enlightenment in the current life. The simple desire you express proves transforming our karma is possible, 'earthly desires are the path to enlightenment' Nichiren Daishonin,1222-1282. (Report) Reply
