Kept Dreams (A Sacrificial Ritual) Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Kept Dreams (A Sacrificial Ritual)

Kept dreams.
That remain and seem unchanged.
Are the ones meant to come true.
Regardless of who says what,
Or does to do.
Kept dreams.
That remain and seem unchanged.
Are the ones meant to come true.
And do.
Regardless of who says what.
Or does to disapprove.
Kept dreams.
To touch with them wanted much,
Are often the ones unknown by others...
Kept to wish.
As if the doing is a sacrificial ritual.
