All killer drugs...
Forsaken world...
Bridge evil gap
Im not a drug addict, never taken anything heavier then liquor, but my family are all recovering drunks, Ive knowing several people who use. Drugs are for people who are empty, the evil is the world we live in, drugs dull the evil and all the horrors around us. I pity those people.
3) cont'd: Shame on the world leaders who let this problem get so out of hand. Shame on the Mexican cartels who claim to be Catholic and are killing so many people. Such pitiful HYPOCRISY!
2) cont'd: Tragically, I've seen too many lives destroyed by drugs. Even more tragically, last year, a few of my friends died because of drugs.
Other than alcohol, I don't use drugs. When I was in high school, a few friends of mine tried to get me to experiment. So happy that I made the decision not to!
That is the problem, drugs are their to fill people who are beating and broken, when their is an emptiness and a loneliness drugs are the sweet solution for emptiness.
So very true, Kevin. In Kerouac's case, he chiefly used drugs to stay up all night writing. Alcohol in his life was a whole other story.

Great poem Richard! I think many recovering addicts can relate.
Thanks so very much, Kevin! Throughout my life, I had worked with addicts and recovering addicts. I had continually reinforced to them that drugs can't do anything for them that can't be achieved through natural mind-altering methods like meditation and/or hypnosis!
