Kill All Lawyers Poem by gershon hepner

Kill All Lawyers

Rating: 5.0

Anthropologically, says Signor Berlusconi,
all judges differ from the human race;
though some may think his words are just bologna,
his view is one I gladly can embrace.
But please don’t ask me what I think about
all other lawyers Shakespeare said to kill;
I think the bard was right although I doubt
the words were written by a man called Will.

From World Briefing, NYT, September 5,2003:

Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi fired another salvo against judges in an interview to be published today, calling them lunatics who are anthropologically different from other humans. Mr. Berlusconi, who has been dogged by corruption charges, also told the British magazine Spectator that his love of liberty ran so deep that he would even become a terrorist if he lived in a dictatorship. Mr. Berlusconi has already said that his statements were taken out of context.
