King Of Kings Poem by Daniel Bernard Kelleher

King Of Kings

Rating: 5.0

A child is born
A welcome birth
A future King
To save the earth

A mother informed
Of this special gift
Attended by Angels
With the Holy Spirit

No rooms available
An expecting mother
Took refuge in a stable
A birth like no other

No fanfare preceded
Few in the know
Sent by his Father
Jesus was born

Lovely poem describing the circumstances when Jesus was born, The most sublime fact relates to the absence of any fanfare which is otherwise associated with such events. Thanks.
