Superb hunter on snow and ice
Roaming frozen seas
Polar bear prowls its domain.

Hibernating hidden under snow
Sleeping through winter
Mother bears giving birth.

Emerging with cubs
Teaching them to survive
Severest terrain on earth.

Hunting freezing landscape
Seeking prey, mostly seals
Resting beside ice holes.

Greatest enemy humans
With unbridled global warming
Melting the kingdom of the polar bear.
