Kings And Queens Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Kings And Queens

Only fools.
Raised from birth.
To depict others,
They know nothing about.
To be idiots.
Because they had not been influenced,
By anyone deluded.
Fantasizing themselves to be,
Descendents of Kings and queens.
With an ability to credit their lives,
Living them surrounded by 'things'.
Worshipping the depths of their debts!
Day and night.
Believing this way of life is envied.
