Knockin', Screamin', Bangin', Rockin' - Poem by CIARAN O'FRIGHIL
Knockin’, screamin’, bangin’, rockin’
It’s the Mickey and Vicky show, shockin’
Pale would go your skin and grey would go your hairs,
If only you knew what went on up those stairs.
Nothing but the noise of crashes, bangs, and falls,
As they swing from chandeliers and bounce off the walls.
The endless tirade that keeps me awake at night,
Dare use the bathroom, prepare for a fright.
So on and on it goes, a marathon with zest,
Its nolonger sex, more like an endurance test,
Once in the morning, twice in the afternoon,
A break for refreshments then off back to bed soon.
Occasonally they re-emerge to show their faces,
Wearily walking in sideways paces,
Drained but unashamed, limbs worn and pained,
Yet nothing lost, a world of pleasure gained
So a big applause to Mickey and Vicky,
A big ten out of ten,
As they disappear back up those stairs,
To do it again and again.
