What a joy it is to see such beauty of the Lord
as in the rainbow after rain
and in the mildest storm

What a peace flows over me to know the will of God
like where to go and what to do
that brings much love to all

What a love that covers me to be chosen by the Lord
to walk this earth in mercy held
embracing hearts as one

What a life to live this way directed by our God
who watches every step I make
ensuring help to all

What a patient child it is to be molded by the Lord
to be compassion, sympathy
enduring heartache and loss

Oh joy does fill this heart so full in peace and love of life
While patience, compassion, endurance and heart
direct life's journey at cost
