La Beaute.(Translation) .
J'ai vu l'aube et le coucher du soleil sur les landes et des collines venteuses
En venant en beaute solenelle comme les vieux airs lents de l'Espagne:
J'ai vu la dame avril apporter les jonquilles,
Apportant l'herbe elastique et la pluie douce et chaude d'avril.
J'ai entendu la chanson des floraisons et le chant ancien de la mer,
Et j'ai vu des pays etrangers de ma position sous les voiles cintrees et blanches des grands voiliers;
Mais les choses les plus jolies de la beaute que Dieu m'ait jamais montrees
Sont sa voix, et ses cheveux, et les yeux, et la rondeur chere et rouge de ses levres.

The poem is about beauty, firstly the dawn and sunset thenApril in spring bringing daffodils and warm rain. The poet has heard the chant of the sea and foreign lands from a sailing ship. But the most beautiful thing he has seen are the good looks of his lady: her hair, eyes, red lips and a soft voice.
I agree with the poet that the beauty of a woman in love is better than nature. More personal and loving.
John Masefield (1878-1967) has described the beauty in lovely way in this beautiful poem and your translation has added values within it. Seeing both dawn and sunset in windy hills is definitely an interesting aspect. The April lady bring the daffodils and softness of grass motivates mind. An interesting poem is excellently penned.10
