La Societe Permissive.

Reveille-toi, car l'aube a remplace les etoiles,
Et dans mon lit il y a un etranger: donc encore une fois,
Ce qui me semblait une bonne idee hier soir
Parait, ce matin, desoulee, un peu mauvais.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The woman who speaks in the poem has slept with a stranger, after drinking too much the night before. In the morning, when she is sober, it does not seem like a good idea. The permissive society-sleeping around.
