La Sortie. (Translation) . Poem by Michael Walker

a chaque aube.

She has been granted a visa to enter another country. The taxicab is outside waiting. Then she regrets leaving her house where the windows turn pink at dawn-a beautiful sight. her suitcase now seems 'the saddest object in the world'. In the taxi, she sees, through the windshield, the sky turning red, as she did when her mother explained to her the facts of life, an embarrassing topic.
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

When and when her mother explained to her the facts of life, an embarrassing topic. The door opened to a street like in a movie. The sky begun to blush and an amazing sense was felt. A brilliant poem is penned and this is nicely translated..10
