Lady Of Leisure Poem by james watkin

Lady Of Leisure

Lady of leisure
Its look reclined.
The sensuous, embodies not
As what's refined.

Posed and perfected
In an era
Of sunrooms, rooms, as gorgeous hung
Lit by gas are.

When not with book
From music, read
Likewise, for her, as light enthrals
What's translated.
