Lady With Rose No.7 Poem by George Hunter

Lady With Rose No.7

Lady with rose No.7
I thought I’d died
And gone to heaven.
Floating through the garden
Feeling so free,
Wearing the clothes
God gave to thee.
With a beautiful body
For all to see
Compelling an air of mystery.

Are you really there
Or just a dream?
Will you disappear
If I should scream?
Will I wake up and find you there
Teasing and combing
Your long blond hair?

Beautiful lady
Waltzing through the roses
I don’t suppose you remember
Where your clothes is.
It’s OK, it don’t matter to me,
Cause you’re a wonderful
Sight to see.

Are you just my mind’s illusion,
Come to cause me great confusion?
With your skin so fair
And your roses so red
I dream of taking
You off to bed.
