Lake
Like a wide basin
Where calm, motionless water
Has no full freedom.

A beautiful poem! Like a bird in a cage, the water surrounded by land on all sides cannot flow freely like a stream or a river. The lake though with enormity of water has restricted movement and is stagnant! Stagnation sets in all lives where the freedom is restricted. A Very meaningful haiku and a sure 10... Rose Marie!
