How I wish I could move you
On the floor of my mouth
To articulate the thoughts
That arise in me.
To utter the words
That a mother
Yearns to hear
From her beloved daughter.
To sing a melody
For my father
Who earnestly wishes
To hear the golden voice
Of his very own.
I always love to listen
To the endless queries
Of my little brother
I know
I answered them so well
But he seemed
Not to understand.
No one will ever know
The deepest longings of my heart
And the hurts
I usually encountered
The joys and happiness
I experienced in life.
The memories I gathered
I want to convey
And share them with you
But they always
Stay with me
Only for me.

The silence silvery. We can't express all we think all we feel all our experiences all we hope to. It could be often more to speak than what has been spoken out. A majestic poem that upholds love and affection in family values. Congrats Rose Marie 10+

I can feel the sadness in the tone of the speaker. If only people could explore our inner thoughts! The dumb has so much to say, yet speechless.
I knew a stroke victim whose speech was unintelligible.; ( I could not understand him and he seemed very frustrated by the disability.: (
(cont.) GARBLED: 'garbled adjective Difficult to understand because it has been distorted; scrambled. Lacking orderly continuity. 'disconnected fragments of a story' '
stanza 4 makes me think that the speaker may be able to speak, but NOT so others understand. Perhaps she/he has a speech impediment, a BAD ONE, or garbled **** speech. (cont.)
