Land Of The Unknown Poem by Kelly Zion

Land Of The Unknown

Welcome to the land of the unknown
I see you have come here alone

Are you searching for a friend,
Are you searching for a home?

Are you down in the valley now, digging up bones?
Are you piecing them together,
Have you found someone to hold?
Oh, we have all died waiting
for someone to love
We have all tried escaping
this ugly, modern world

Oh we are all strangers
and pilgrims on this earth

Are you tired of the world you've come to know?
Has time worn you down to the bones?
Are you lonely, are you sad, are you cold?
Welcome to the land of the unknown

Let's tell each other we don't have to be alone
let each other know they are known
at the start of the end of the world
let us teach each other there is hope to hope

Are you tired, are you sad,
Are you close to letting go?

All your thoughts are known
All your wants are known
You are not alone 2x

Take now a lantern and shine through the darkness of this world
help somebody lost find their way home
help somebody unknown be known.
