Lansing Art Gallery Paperweights Poem by Rhonda Baker

Lansing Art Gallery Paperweights

As I stand before the glory, intent on a piece
Helping others find their inner artist to release
The HEAT...it consumes everything in sight
But the mood in here is happy and light
All eager to learn, working at their own rate
They've got the addiction! They've got to create
The glass is hypnotic... it cast a spell
You cannot fight it, just ride the swell
Each orb contains something the naked eye cannot see
Incorporated within? ...A piece of you...and me
