Last Day Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Last Day

Rating: 5.0

The old traveller
Was lying on his bed,
Someone came in his vision,
He said to the traveller,
'Do you know this is your last day? '
The old wayfarer gently said,
'Yes, I know
And I am ready to embrace my last day.'
Soon a bright light flashes
From the invisible region.

When you know where you are going, you walk confidently and prepared. Nice poem.

Born and bred in the squalor of the ghetto, yet we struggle to make something out of the 50cents. A beautiful poem
