Yesterday brought happiness
No sadness in her eye,
Sweet music filled the world
And I will tell you why.
She had finalized a book
On love and deep devotion
The chosen title is well-known

Talent said 'goodbye'.
Words of love seemed quite absurd
And I will tell you why.
She lost the man she idealized
Love's last word was spoken
